The film reflects on the lasting influence of our predecessors' lives on our present, blending memories, dreams, and synaesthesias to unravel the mystery of unrequited love.
As trauma is transmitted across generations, exploring its origins helps us better understand and foresee the future.
Here, memories are shaped by the degradation of the city’s landscapes brought on by Camorra's influence. Despite everything, nature managed to survive: breaking through reinforced concrete, resisting asbestos, and thriving where humans never expected it to. It reclaimed what we had naively thought was ours alone. Just as we adapted and grew, taking on the shape of the cages that confined us.
